About Us

Founded by Frank's family, the Frank “Pistol Pete” Eaton Legacy Foundation exists to preserve Frank's story, the man behind the namesake "Pistol Pete," and the spirit of the American West—collecting and cataloging his personal items, helping preserve his home, and sharing his legacy with future generations.  We started with the idea to not only preserve he past but to help future generations in honor of his entrepreneurial spirit and legacy. 

 With passionate volunteers and supportive partners, we advance western history while investing in tomorrow’s leaders through scholarships that help deserving youth pursue technical school and higher education at different universities tied to Frank Eaton and local communities.
